Merging java files, hero images disappear

    Looking to speed up my site.
    Enabled merging of java files by Wp Optimize plugin, caused all the Hero Images to disappear. There is a way of excluding certain Java files, but I am not sure how to isolate the affected files.

    I hope it’s not too difficult, as I am not advanced at this yet. Has anyone experienced the same issue before and able to help?

    Hi David

    I’m not sure if the file path is necessary. You can try excluding in the JavaScript section:

    jquery.cycle.min.js
    jquery.slider.min.js

    The list is comma-separated in the AO settings. It might not be necessary to exclude both. Experiment a bit and see how you go.

    Thanks Andrew,
    I tried both but I am getting the same issue, I will keep experimenting to see if I can find the issue.
    In the meantime I will keep merging of java script disabled. That keeps the functionality.

    For interest sake, here are the settings we have enabled on the Corp demo which has a Hero on the home page. We have aggregation enabled. Is it perhaps one of the other settings that’s an issue in the JavaScript section?
