Merging old database into new one…

This is going to be a bit complicated, but I’ll try to explain it very simply. Long story short…

My sad crashed. I didn’t have a recent backup so I restored the site from the backup I had. The site is up and running great, and I’ve been creating new posts. However, I was missing some older posts that for some reason wasn’t in this backup I had.

I just found an even older back up that has a lot of the missing posts that I needed, but here’s the problem the current site has posts that aren’t in this older database that I found (since I’ve been creating new content on it and wasn’t expecting to find a backup with more content on it.)

So my question is, how can I some how import the content on this other database I found into the current database? I want to basically migrate the two databases. There are some tutorials online about how to migrate two databases that are from two different sites, but this is different in that the two databases are from the exact same site…they just have different content.

I really hope someone can help me.
