• I am shutting down https://www.ElectricCadi.com and want to pull the posts WITH THEIR graphics into https://www.PartisanIssues.com but after 9 hours of trying different methods have failed and need help.

I first tried the normal WP method of TOOLS > EXPORT/IMPORT which did bring in the posts nicely and the media does get imported (because I click the checkbox Download and import file attachments) but the links to the various graphics are not updated.

I then tried the AUTO UPLOAD IMAGES plugin but that failed to resolve the issues.

I then tried several other techniques but there were issues their too.

Both sites use CloudFlare, so I disabled HOTLINK PROTECTION in ElectricCadi.com but still could not get the graphics to import using the above processes

If you look at https://www.partisanissues.com/2020/02/top-10-new-electric-vehicles-available-in-2020/ you will see that the graphics are STILL are sourced from https://www.ElectricCadi.com and that they are just too many to manually replace on these imported posts.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

  • you might want to look at JetPack’s performance tab.

how do i know? cause the image loads from https://i2.wp.com/www.ElectricCadi.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/02/Chevy-Bolt-V2.jpg?ssl=1

    which indicates lazy load

Interesting! So you think LazyLoad is caching which is breaking the automatic link replacement… that could be it.

I just turned off LazyLoad on BOTH sites and then edited a number of the posts, but that did not resolve the issue.

I then turned off WPSUPERCACHE on the off chance that was an issue and then edited a number of the posts, but I still do not have the graphic links updated to the new site.

Any other ideas would be greatly appreciated.
