Mesmirize Functions.php giving suspicious warning in wordfence

“File appears to be malicious: wp-content/themes/mesmerize-pro/functions.php” I have had other malware on the site, so I am a bit concerned. I did delete the file on the website and I uploaded the version from the original install. However, is there an innocent reason this could have happened? Did the theme end up compromised? What should I do! Completely in the dark here.
