    I don’t receive notification e-mails about new entries.

    You are listed in the dropdown for “unsubscribe”? That would mean you are subscribed as a user.
    You can set a “From:” address in the settings. If that doesn’t help, I am a bit lost. You can install an SMTP plugin to see if you can add extra options for sending email.

    In recent releases nothing has changed in the plugin for email notifications.
