You can change this message using a plugin like Say What? https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/say-what/ this might be a bit complicated but the changes you will make using this method will not be overwritten on WPAdverts update.

What do I need to fill in for the Text domain and Text context?

In the original string I have filled in (in Dutch): Bedankt voor het indienen van deze advertentie!

In the “Text Domain” enter “adverts”, the “Text Context” you can leave empty.

I am not sure what do you mean? The instructions i sent allow customizing the message not hide it.

Best thing would be to delete that message after step 2, since it’s confusing (see https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/status-of-ad/) but, I tried to change it also, but that doesn’t work. It keeps showing the same message.

If you do not want to show the message then the only option to do that is to remove line <?php adverts_flash( $adverts_flash ) ?> from wpadverts/templates/add-save.php (assuming you are using Payments Module to charge users).

The changes you will make in this file will be overwritten on WPAdverts update so you should consider creating a child template file for add-save.php to avoid having the file overwritten, see “Replacing Default Templates” section here https://wpadverts.com/documentation/child-themes-and-templates/ for more details.
