Message Body field resize error

    In generating the PDF content the field “Message Body” has a standard textbox resize handle in the lower-right corner. The user can resize vertically, but can not also resize horizontally. This creates a less than desirable PDF layout experience because the message body input field is a very narrow and VERY tall field that is hard to work with.

    I have a relatively complex multipage CF7 form that generates two (2) full letter sized pages when completed. I really need to have the ability to resize the message body input field to be able to properly work with the output.

    I have deleted and reinstalled both cf7 and the generate pdf using cf7 plugins, same result.

    Please check your coding and activate/correct the ability to resize in both directions.

    Hoster: Arvixe
    Windows 10 pro
    Wordpress v5.8
    PHP v7.2
    Weaver xtreme theme (cosmic latte subtheme)
    CF7 v5.4.2
    Generate PDF using Contact form 7 v2.7

    Thanks for your comment.
    We have added the feature to resize “Message body” for you.

    Please update the plugin and check the admin side by resizing the black message body from the bottom right corner.

    Hello, and thanks for the most prompt support response!!

    Unfortunately, the update does -not- resolve the problem. Yes, I can see it works for you, but does not do so for me yet.

    I updated the plugin using the WP plugin dashboard to ver 2.8 and the message box still will not resize horizontally. I deactivated and reactivated the V2.8 plugin – same result. I then saved off all of my form customization data for the pdf and deactivated/deleted the plugin entirely, then reinstalled v 2.8 from WP repository. Plugin still will not resize horizontally. My desktop system environment and active installed plugins are as follows:
