Message can’t reach my register users

    I setup the WordPress and created the admin account put i didn’t receive the password and account information on my email so I create a new account to see if I will recive a message form the wordpress but unfortunate i didn’t receive any thing. I think I should counfigure the SMTP or POP server or something like that.please can you help me? because I’m out of options.
