Hi, my english is poor but I will try to explain my problem

I charged the plugin masteryo since 2 years. But I have problems now using it. When I click on “users” and want to “edit” one : I have this message :

    Hi @alexjyoti,

Could you please check which version of Masteriyo is installed on your site? It seems you’re using an outdated plugin, which might be causing the issue. We suggest updating to the latest version to see if that resolves the problem.

    Best regards!

    Hi @alexjyoti,

You are using the latest version so it might be the other issue. Sometimes, due to permission issues, the resource may not load properly. Please follow the instructions kindly to solve your issue.

    • Go to your Dashboard >> Plugins >> Scroll down or Search for the Masteriyo Free plugin.
    • Deactivate the plugin and reactivate it.

This process should help fix the issue. Also, deactivating the plugin does not affect your content and the settings.

    Regards!

    Hi Amrit,

I follow your process and I still have the same issues when I want to edit a user :

Oops! Something went wrong.TypeError: Ye.current_user.roles.includes is not a function

and the version is still the same, no change and I stay with my issues.

I tried to create a new instructor and I reach the same error message

Oops! Something went wrong.TypeError: Ye.current_user.roles.includes is not a function

I deactivate and reactivate many times, this is not helpful. The version is still the same Version 1.13.1

    Hello,

I had a similar problem not long ago, when I noticed that another plugin had made changes in default WordPress roles. Thia might be the problem here as well. In my instance, under “Settings”, I needed to set “New User Default Role” as “Masteriyo Student”. Then, for tbe already-registered users, I installed “Members – Membership & User Role Editor Plugin” (any other plugin for “multiple roles” should also work). With this plugin, I added the role “Masteriyo Student” for all members except for the administrator. The problem was solved. I hope the problem addressed here can be dealt with through this solution.

    Thanks @hakangur for your feed-back.

I was upset with this plug-in, I deleted it and download another one that offers me all the services I need to launch my projects of E-Learning plateforme. It’s on-line now and works fully well. I am happy !

Sorry @shresthauzwal, I leave Masteriyo for another plug-in. BUT I would like to thank you for your kindness.

Best regards to both of you

    Alexandra
