Message for pending posts

  • I was able to set post as pending as default at /inc/ajax.php ‘post_status’ => ‘pending’ so now when a post is submitted I can review it but when the user hits submit I need a message that says “your post has been successfully submitted and will appear when approved.”

    Alas, that sort of functionality change is beyond the scope of support we can provide for P2. Also keep in mind that if you make any changes directly in the theme, they’ll be wiped out every time the theme is updated, so be sure to make a backup and keep a record of your changes. The best way to make changes is to use a child theme so your tweaks will be protected when you update.
