    Hi, guys

I sent a message to myselfthru Send Mail, with a PDF attached and it came into my gmail account as a phishing message with a big red header. The message was sent to two emails, and i imagined that the person to whom i sent the copy message also got it in the same way.

My email server is MIGADU and my doamin is all set properly in its configuration, so i don’t understand why this is happening.

    Maybe someone has a light?

    Hi arunki,

This is because the receiving server’s (gmail in this case) spam detection has identified your email message as a possible threat. This has nothing to do with this specific plugin as it only sends an email from your hosting server. Gmail’s spam detection is notably aggressive but there are a lot reasons why an email sent from WordPress can end up as spam: take a look here

Also, have you tried sending it to another non-gmail address to see if it ends up in a spam/junk folder? If so, you may have to edit the content/attachment so it’s less spammy.

    Hope that helps!

And thanks for using the plugin. ??

    Hello, thanks

I am inquiring everywhere because my address is legimated by SPF and all these things… so i think it is strange that only when i send from my website that happens. This is why i came here. I’ll continue my investigations. This plugin is great. It is the first time it happens. When i send email from madmmim or direct from my email server MIGADU, this phishing thing does not happen… understand? Ok.

    Thank you.
