There is a filter called ‘ig_es_subscription_messages’ is available in email-subscribers/includes/admin/class-es-handle-subscription.php file using which you can change the message.

I want to translate the subscription messages (public function get_messages( $message )). If I do that in “email-subscribers/includes/admin/class-es-handle-subscription.php”, this will be overwritten when the plugin is updated.

My knowledge of WordPress is insufficient. I know I have to do this in my functions.php, But I don’t know how. So, any help will be greatly appreciated.

Hi Hans,

Do you want to change the “Success” message user gets when they fill to subscription form?

If so, wait for a day. We have added the option in settings from where you can configure that message and you don’t have to get your hands dirty with the code.

Yes, that is what I want, but not only the “Success” message, also the other messages in the array.

I don’t mind to get my hands dirty, only learning from that.

Talking about translation and translatig message.
I updated the last version of this nice plugin.
As my website and subscribers are french, I changed correctly all the text in “Settings”.

Now I wonder: when I’ve published a new article, the notification that subscribers receive is in English! (“Hello [name], We have published a new blog article on our website…”)

I can not find the way to translate in another language (french as for me), the text of this specific notification for my french subscribers.
It is weird because I can translate all the other data field (for exemple to welcome a new subsrcriber (success…) and it is ok.
For another website for which I use the same plugin (that I have updated too), the notifications are still in french (meaning that I could have changed it last year…).

Where could I change this last translation (notification in the mail subscribers are receiving to be informed of a new publishing)?

I found the way to do it. ??
(Via Campaign, then Manage Template (then editing Posttitle to modify).
