Problem in Child Theme

When switching to the main – the Message disappears

When creating a new child theme – no message
Total – the message appears only on old child themes.

Thanks for reporting this.

The problem could be related to the way the child theme was configured using the plugin, as some plugins “lock” the child theme to specific scripts that were used in the parent theme at the time of the configuration (which can also cause other problems in the future as well during updates).

Do you have any websites using the default OceanWP child theme from before and do you experience the same problems?

@vaka2vaka as a temporary solution, please do the following:

1. Edit the style.css of your child theme
2. Change the version number to: 3.3.0

In the meantime, we’ll investigate this.

I noticed that if you use “Install the official OceanWP Child Theme” – the same problem.
I also see an error in the OceanWP Panel admin panel –
GET https://………../wp-admin/admin.php?page=oceanwp → 200

Last observation!!! This problem only exists when Ocean Extra is enabled.
