There are 2 new messages at the top in the admin that make no sense. The site has SSL, so I’m wondering why these messages are there:

Spotlight – Social Media Feeds: We strongly recommend that you switch your site to HTTPS to prevent your access tokens from being compromised.

Spotlight – Social Media Feeds: We strongly recommend that you enable the openssl PHP extension to allow Spotlight to encrypt your account access tokens.

Anyone know what’s causing these to show?

    Thanks!

  • Here as well – can’t find anything to sort it out anywhere

Yes, me as well. I “only” have the second message though. “Spotlight – Social Media Feeds: We strongly recommend that you enable the openssl PHP extension to allow Spotlight to encrypt your account access tokens.”

    Hello!

We became aware of this issue where it’s showing that notice even SSL is active shortly after releasing version 1.0, and working on a fix. We’ll release an update soon that’ll fix this issue. Please ignore the notice for the time being, and keep your eyes on the next update.

    Appreciate your patience on this!

We’ve released an update (v 1.0.1) that fixes the notice issue. Please update the plugin to the latest and let us know if you’re facing any issues.
