Messages fail to send after update WP and CF7

  • Hi,

    Just updated WordPress to 4.7 and Contact Form 7 to version 4.6. After completing the recaptcha en clicking the submit button a Contact Form 7 error message appears:

    “Failed to send your message. Please try later or contact the administrator by another method.”

    I found that after disabling Better WordPress reCAPTCHA the issue was solved. Would really like to keep using the plugin. Any ideas for a fix?

  • Hi,
    I also am having a problem with Contact Form 7 after WP Software update to 4.7.
    I also have reCAPTCHA activated for the forms. Now my site’s contact forms won’t allow any information to be entered and are not working at all. Is there another more compatible CAPTCHA plugin that anyone can suggest? I’ve just learned of another WP update to 4.7.1 my host will be implementing tomorrow. Thanks for any help!
