    Hi Jeff,

    Thanks very much for the plugin…been using it some regularly for some time.

    We’ve come across an issue which i’ve not experienced before, that being when you submit the message to the chat, it does not appear.

    I’ve read about the potential for the wp-load.php file having moved, thats still in the public_html folder; unsure of its default location, but i’m sure that’s normally where it is.

    Up until around midnight last night (UK) it was working flawlessly, then today, nothing…i’ve tried clearing the chat, uninstall / reinstall, cleared the cache for our users and also our forums in case that was an issue, yet its still not showing the messages.

    Would appreciate any assistance,

    Hi pesonline,

    Glad to help. I’m not sure what be happening (it is impossible to just “guess” in most cases), but it sounds like maybe the required JavaScript is not loading, or maybe is loading with errors. You can install a free JS-error checker extension for your browser to investigate further.

    Thanks for the speedy reply Jeff.

    I’ve tried this across a few different browsers (Edge, Firefox & Chrome along with Safari on iOS) and its the same across all browsers.

    I’ve just installed JavaScript Errors Notifier for Chrome as per your advice and its showing as having no errors on the page.

    I’ve also noticed that ReCaptcha isn’t showing for Ultimate Member also; beginning to wonder if its a host issue?

    Any further advice or even how to completely reset / remove and restart would be appreciated.

    Alright, sounds like you are on top of it. Basically just a matter of ruling out unknown variables until the culprit is identified. Basic scientific method of troubleshooting, etc. Let me know if I can provide any further infos about SAC, glad to help.

    Going through the sites error log and we’ve got this:

    Apologies, i’m not that knowledgeable when it comes to code lol – does this shed any light on it from your side?

    Yeah it looks then like an issue with your server PHP session functionality. You can find more by searching for some query like:

    PHP Warning: session_start() No such file or directory

    should get you there. Then once you understand what might be happening, ask your web host for help.
