I have over 2300 contacts confirmed on my mailing list. All has been well using this plugin until the 12th of July. I sent a newsletter on the 12th and so far it has sent about 1200 and its still has SENDING as its stays 2 days later. I sent another newsletter on the 14th of july, 2024 and 0 has been sent so far (24 hrs later) and has SENDING as its status. Please how can this be resolved. i am running the latest version of 3.4.7

    Hi @chusso,

Noptin will send the second newsletter as soon as it finishes sending the first newsletter. We only send one newsletter at a time to avoid overloading your server.

Sending is done via CRON jobs and CRON jobs won’t work well if your site does not get enough traffic unless you set up external CRON jobs as shown in this guide:- https://wpspeedmatters.com/external-cron-jobs-in-wordpress/

i am aware that it sends one after the other. Noptin has been working well except for the last few weeks where not all recipients get the newsletter. Take for instance a newsletter sent 2 weeks ago, not all recipients got the newsletter and it still has sending as its status 2 weeks later even when it is obvious it has stopped sending because the total number of people who have gotten the newsletter isnt increasing. I have not setup any external cron jobs. How do i resolve this pls

Set up an external CRON job as shown in the linked article and see if it fixes your issue.

You can collect an unlimited number of subscribers whether you’re using the free or pro versions.
