Messed up database

Hi,

I had WP running nicely with mamp, then i tried to prepare everything for the transfer to a server.

I first of all duplicated the wp folder, then i backed up the database.

After rushing through may options with a support / via chat window, i deleted the local root user. Yes, probably sounds stupid.

I get the following message from MAMP:

Error message:

/Applications/MAMP/Library/bin/mysqlcheck: Got error: 1045: Access denied for user ‘root’@’localhost’ (using password: NO) when trying to connect

How do i restore things to the way they were? I can’t connect to the database to make any changes.
