    Hi!

When I installed and activated this plugin it messed up the layout on my single product pages. Especially on mobile devices. It seems it does not help to deactivate the plugin to get it back to normal. What is the problem? I immediately got a message from Google console telling it found problems with text overlaying for example.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hey @joelmellin

You mention that deactivating the Facebook plugin did not get your pages back to normal, but from what I can see, your single product pages look good.

Has this issue been resolved, or do the pages only look bad when the Facebook plugin is active (and they look good when the Facebook plugin is not active)?

The problem occurs when I activate the plugin and disappears when I activate it. I get messages from Google console when the plugin is activated that elements on phone devices are overlapping. I get an extra add to cart button added on all single product pages when I scroll down the page.

    Hi, @joelmellin!

I checked your site out, and this is what I saw:

You mentioned that the problem only occurs when the Facebook extension is activated. Based on that, I’m guessing it’s still deactivated as I was visiting your site. Would that be correct?

If so, the curious thing is that Facebook Pixel Helper was detecting a pixel on your site:

Do you perhaps have that added through a different plugin or perhaps manually in your site’s header.php?

The reason I ask is that, when the Facebook extension is active, there will then be duplicate code and that may be what’s causing the layout issues you’re seeing.

To note, we haven’t had any recent reports about similar issues, but I hope the information I provided above can help narrow this down for you!

Thanks for taking time with this. The Facebook plugin is still activated but I could not wait to fix the layout problems so I had a programmer to do fix it with CSS. He said the problem was caused by the plugin. I don’t know more than so. Hopefully it will not occur now again.

A couple of other questions: How often do the sync run so that the products get updated?

Does this plugin slow down my site?

    Hi @joelmellin,

Thanks for letting us know you have fixed the layout problems via CSS. It’s a bit strange that the plugin would affect the style on your site based on how it works, so perhaps there was a conflict going on. I am glad to hear the layout is now fixed.

    > A couple of other questions: How often do the sync run so that the products get updated?

Products sync when you first connect the plugin. After that, products get synced every time you create a new product or change an existing product. It is also possible to sync products manually.

Please let us know if you have any further questions!

We haven’t heard back from you in a while, so I’m going to mark this as resolved – if you have any further questions, you can start a new thread.
