    Hello,
it appears you have downloaded an addon, and then you have disabled the simplest gallery main plugin, so the addon complains that it cannot work without the main plugin activated.

Of course it is not normal that this blocks normal operation, it is possible that it’s a case specific behaviour.

    Quick way to solve it:

    – With FTP, go inside wp-content/plugins and rename the addon folder, then enter wp-admin.

For example, if you were using the “jquery cycle slideshow for simplest gallery” addon, just rename “jquery-cycle-slideshow-for-simplest-gallery” into “jquery-cycle-slideshow-for-simplest-gallery-disabled”.

Please let me have some more info (eg. what addon you were using) so that I can make this notification less intrusive.

I’m sure you have solved it by now, if you need more help just reopen a new ticket.

I am working to make this notifications less intrusive in the next release, however.
