Messed up my style sheet……

    I’m kinda freaking out right now… I can’t access anything on my website! Not the posts, not the admin panel, not anything!

    I was trying to edit my site’s Style Sheet (I’m using the twenty ten theme), and when I saved the changes, I broke my website.

    Now whenever I try to access the Style Sheet page, this is what it says:

    “Server error

    The website encountered an error while retrieving https://www.why-is-my-poop-green.org/wp-admin/theme-editor.php. It may be down for maintenance or configured incorrectly.

    Here are some suggestions:

    Reload this webpage later.
    HTTP Error 500 (Internal Server Error): An unexpected condition was encountered while the server was attempting to fulfill the request.”

    Please please help!

  • Use FTP or the file manager in your ISP control panel, download the old stylesheet, and upload a new one from a clean twenty ten theme, download from the themes menu above.

    Once fixed look at using a Child Theme and transfer all changes, you should never edit the default themes, as these get deleted and replaced, when a new WordPress version is released!
