• I’m getting baffled by this issue that I have never seen before and I’m hoping someone may have a tip for me.

I recently used the CSV import extension for Woocommerce to import about 90 products into my site. During that process, I once or twice decided I didn’t like the format of the data so I deleted all the products that existed on the site, modified my CSV and imported again. Everything seemed to be great until I realized there were problems with my product related taxonomies, specifically product_tag and product_cat. When viewing the list of all products in the dashboard->Products I see all the products with the appropriate categories and tags. However when I visit Products->Categories I see nothing. Zip. When I visit Products->Tags I see one entry that was a manually created Category.

When I edit a product and look at the Categories meta box I see two tabs: All Product Categories and Most Used. The Most Used tab displays all the categories I want. The All tab shows nothing.

A `get_terms(‘product_cat’)’ returns nothing. I’m not a MySQL wiz but my glance in the relevant tables didn’t give me any obvious clues.

How on earth can these taxonomy values be associated with the products and show alongside them but….not really be there? I’m at my wits end.

In case you need more info, I’m using Maximize by Woothemes, hosted on WP Engine, am using multisite and besides Woocommerce and the CSV import plugin have only Restricted Site Access activated.
