Messes up placeholder in forms

In some of my forms I use placeholder or value in some of my email fields (ex: [email protected] placeholder would get replaced).

If I set the change to mail-to link, then it breaks the form as it tries to insert java script into placeholder or value part of the form field.

I would like to suggest adding a obfuscation option to handling of plain text emails. I know that it would not be great protection however at least it would not break the forms.
