Neither [email protected] nor [email protected] are gmail accounts. How did you get this to route through Gmail? Shouldn’t you be using the Dreamhost SMTP server?

This part I don’t understand. Maybe you have a plugin that filtered the message before it got to Postman? Would you please send me the session transcript of this message (privately).

    Yes it is.

I see now also I should have entered a website email address such as your postman@domain rather than my google email address which was the default on the Google developers site – obvious newbie to this here … will set it up again.

Thanks for what looks like a great plugin

Please post the output of your Diagnostic Test next time so I can see what you’ve configured.

Sorry, I am a little lost here. I thought I had to go through Google for the smtp. Was using dreamhost mail to forward mail from contact forms to various people in different locations only most test mails sent never got there. Some stuff on the dreamhost forum suggested smtp authentication via google was the way to go.

So what is set up at the moment is my gmail email address was used to get the keys required for postman. The [email protected] is one of a dozen email addresses for contact people, all with their own contact forms supposedly set up to forward to them the contact form7 content posted.

I have another site on dreamhost and use an email from that site when testing the contact forms, hence the [email protected]

    The diagnostic output is:
