Messy plugin, unresponsive author

  • The plugin uses CSS very badly, so that there’s a high chance of interference with themes. The author barely responds to any questions here in the forum. The author also told me to contact him via mail and it took weeks to get “Sorry I didn’t realise you were still requiring anything form me.” after asking multiple times. Well how did he think my question got resolved if he didn’t even answer in the first place.

    However, the plugn never took the dates of the albums in Google Photos correctly, thus the gallery was an unsorted mess. I’m always prepared to work with plugin authors to resolve such things but it requires the authors help.

    We solved the issues by removing the plugin and use native galleries instead.

    Well I’m sorry you feel that way.

    Looking at our email conversation there was a gap of over 2 months where I was waiting for a response from you.

    If it takes you that long to reply to my questions it really doesn’t help me to help you.

    Yor response times in the forum are publicly visible.
    Can’t tell if the two-month gap (which was there, right) was if we were both waiting for each other. However, don’t miss the “Sorry I didn’t realise you were still requiring anything form me.” part.
