Meta Data are sometimes not correctly reported

  • Hi everyone, hi Photocrati,

    I use NGG 2.0.61 and WP 3.8.2 and sometimes Meta Data and EXIF Data are not correctly reported… (I won’t talk about character encoding problems)

    The biggest issue is with these two fields:
    – Camera
    – Make

    When I edit the Meta Data with Photoshop (CS6), all is reported correctly.

    But when I edit the Meta Data with Adobe Bridge (CS6), “Camera” (camera model name) and “Make” (manufacturer/vendor name) fields are not reported correctly.

    An example:

    Correct Meta Data and EXIF Data:
    – Camera: NIKON D5100
    – Make: NIKON CORPORATION

    Bad Meta Data and EXIF Data:
    – Camera: CORPORATION
    – Make: (sometimes the last word of the description field)

    I made two JPEGs for testing:
    – “_DSC3289_TestMetaPhotoshp.jpg” (correct Meta Data)
    – “_DSC3289_TestMetaBridge.jpg” (bad Meta Data)
