    When using {post_date} in the post metadata the plugin formats it quite unsexy, eg:

    2017-10-12 12:00:09

    Simple SEO seems to ignore the date format settings you can make in WordPress. Any reason for this format instead of the WP default? Any way to override this?

    No way to override at this time. May be an option in a later update.
