Meta Desc Missing in AMP Pages & AMP Console test tool

  • Hi,

    Can you please check why Meta Desc meta tag is missing from AMP pages and when tested via Google tool https://search.google.com/search-console/amp

    It shows missing desc field.

    However when we add meta description manually within the template, it does show desc in Console tool.

    Any reason Yoast’s plugin does not add meta desc to AMP pages?
