We do understand why in your case you strongly disagree with this change. If you want this changed, you can submit a feature request for this to request it from the developers. We rarely revert a change that is made to the plugin, but if enough users feel strongly about it is possible and having a feature request is a good way for us to see how strongly it is supported by having other users comment on it.
