Meta Description filled but says it isn’t

  • Hi:

    Thank you for the plugin!

    When I put text in the fields for the Search Engine Title and save the plugin gives me a checkmark next to Meta-Title Filled.

    But when I put text in the Search Engine Description field, whether with too many characters or not, I don’t get a checkmark next to “Meta Description Filled”. I save the page and refresh, etc. but it doesn’t change.

    Am I wrong in thinking the Search Engine Description field is the Meta Description field? If so, where’s the Meta Description Field?

    Thanks for your feedback.
    I don’t have the issue on my side, could you check if you have any JS error in your browser console? Is it some post from Gutenberg you are editing or a content from a page builder?

    I am using the Classic Editor and am using regular pages. I’m not sure about js errors – ?
