Meta description isn't working on my blog

    3 ppl with the same issue and no answer. ??

    After more digging, WordPress SEO isn’t the issue. At least in my case. The meta description is in the code, Google is just ignoring it…which they do if they feel like there is text on the page that is more relevant to the key search term.

    It appears that the issue with the description, not the plugin.

    @rvturnage – you are correct. The meta description you are providing is only a suggestion, which the search engines can and often will ignore in favor of their own.
