Meta description not accurate on Google

    Hi.

    The site is using the free SEO plugin.

    The meta description in backend is: “Terapi bidrager til en st?rre forst?else af dig selv og din situation og kan v?re hj?lpsomt i forhold til stress, angst og depression”.

    But Google writes: “Bevidstg?relsen skabes gennem samtale, kropsopm?rksomhed, visualisering, stolearbejde, kreative udtryk eller dr?mmearbejde, hvor igennem du selv n?r frem til?nye indsigter i forhold til dine problemer. Opm?rksomhed er gestaltterapiens vigtigste redskab, hvis form?l er at styrke brugen af dine sanser og dermed kroppen.”

    Why? And how to fix it?

    Hello @anette777,

    Thanks for using the Yoast SEO plugin. I can confirm the meta description you have added in the plugin is the same as what’s showing in the page source:

    <meta name="description" content="Terapi bidrager til en st?rre forst?else af dig selv og din situation og kan v?re hj?lpsomt i forhold til stress, angst og depression." />

    As such, our plugin is working as expected but Google hasn’t updated their index. Have you?added your site to Google Search Console? Then, you could?request indexing?so Google can update their index to reflect your changes.
