Meta description not apearing in Google

It’s up to Google to decide if they want to show your description or not.

Google will sometimes use the meta description of a page in search results snippets, if we think it gives users a more accurate description than would be possible purely from the on-page content.

I know that.
The problem is that google only places the meta description in articles (when we search for them) after 7/9 days of their publish.
