meta description not showing in archive view

  • If I go to an date page, i.e. https://www.berryplasman.nl/2011/08
    I don’t see the Meta description template which I entered.
    This is ” All my posts which were posted in %%currentmonth%% “

    Also if I try to share this page on Facebook, it shares a permalink to the first post instead of the page itself…

    Am I missing something ???
