    Hi

The Metadescription of my website is

“Guided walking holidays in the Pyrenees. Experience the thrill of trekking and Walking in the Pyrenees, with local experienced and qualified Spanish guides.”

However, when my website (www.trekpyrenees.com) shows in Google searcher, the metadescripton which shows up is

“Experience the thrill of trekking and Walking in the Pyrenees, with local … We plan hikes …. Pica d’Estats (3,143m) The highest peak in the Catalan Pyrenees.”

    Why is it different?

    Thanks
    Miguel

    Hi
    Thanks for your answer.
I’ve read the guide but I still have two questions.
All my pages/posts show on Google search the correct Meta Description (MD), except two:

    https://www.trekpyrenees.com/gr-11-map/
When I run “en:trekpyrenees.com” I see a wrong Meta Description. So, I do not know whether the case is “Search Term Manipulation” or “Search Engines Ignored Your Preferred Description”

    – The other post is https://www.trekpyrenees.com/most-beautiful-towns-villages-pyrenees/
It shows the good MD when I run “en:trekpyrenees.com”, but it shows a wrong MD when the post is showed in Google search. Which cas is this? “Search Term Manipulation” or “Search Engines Ignored Your Preferred Description”?

For both posts I’ve run the “fetch as Googlebot” tool, without no change afterwards. ??

    May you help me?
    Thanks

    Hi again

I’ve seen that depending on what keyword I’ve used, the correct MD for https://www.trekpyrenees.com/most-beautiful-towns-villages-pyrenees/ is shown. So, it is clearly a case of SEARCH TERM MANIPULATION

I would like to focus on the other case. When I run “site:trekpyrenees.com” the a wrong MD shows up.

    Any avdice?
    Thanks

As you’ve used the Fetch as Googlebot just a few hours ago, we suggest waiting for Google to update the search results. If after a couple of days, your meta description still doesn’t show up, it may be that Google is ignoring it so we’d recommend you improve it by following these tips: https://yoast.com/meta-descriptions/
