Meta description, og:description, Yoast SEO

    I use Yoast SEO to set a Meta description for every post.

    The resulting og:description we get, however, shows text from the beginning of the article, followed by the Meta description we entered via Yoast.

    Is the theme adding a Meta description automatically, drawing from the beginning of the post? If so, how can I stop it from doing so?

    Hi there,

    The theme doesn’t do anything when it comes to meta descriptions.

    Maybe you have another plugin activated that’s conflicting? It may be worth deactivating them one by one to check.

    Turns out it was a setting in Yoast SEO, something they had changed recently. Thanks!
