Meta Description on Google Search Results Mobile

Hi,
We used the Meta Description: field on many of pages to set the page description but we’ve noticed that Google Results is ignoring this on mobile devices i.e. iPhone 5
Fine on Laptops, Desktops, Nexus 7 etc.
Any ideas?
