Meta description Squirrly Bug

  • Since a few days I find this code on some pages, in the meta description. I didn’t update it. I don’t understand where it comes from.

    here the code :

    I don’t understand where it comes from.

    Would you be kind enough to give us some URLs where this code is appearing?

    Also, one easy way to identify the cause is by disabling all plugins one by one until the issue disappears and seeing which one is the source of the issue. Let us know what you find out.

    Please go to Squirrly SEO > Automation and change/remove the patters for the description and see if it changes.

    Also, check the meta description for each URL from Squirrly SEO > Bulk SEO > METAs.

    Check if you get the same issue if you reinstall the current version from Squirrly > Import & Data > Rollback > Reinstall Current Version

    We added the option to add [] chars but added the condition to remove the shortcodes from Title and Description metas.
