Meta Description Template not working

I’m using Events manager and SEO by Yoast plugin too.
I just placed an #_LOCATIONNAME placeholder on title tag and it’s working fine but when I place this #_LOCATIONNAME placholder into Meta description it’s not working.
FYI: I’m on localhost.
