I got a site with the SEO plugin “The SEO Framework”, partially on the site the plugin put meta name = “robots” content = “noindex”
When you disable the plugin, the recording disappears. How to understand why it adds a meta tag on some pages? In the plugin settings I disabled all checkboxes where there is noindex. On pages where there is this tag in the admin panel, noindex checkboxes are disabled

    Hello!

I believe you’ve landed on the wrong plugin page ??

The SEO Bar should explain why this tag is outputted for each post/page individually (when it’s red or blue). Hover over it to obtain details.

For some queries, TSF protects your site against duplicated or thin content with this tag.

You may also find that noindex is set globally for some post types. You can configure these options on the SEO Settings page. However, I recommend leaving them as their defaults (the ones with a green checkmark/border on Chrome-based browsers should remain checked).

    Hello!

I meant the wrong plugin support page ?? This plugin (Extension Manager) is no longer available for download here.

Now, with TSF, there are 14 reasons why a page could have a “noindex” directive outputted. Ranging from paginated queries settings (duplicated content protection), empty query responses (404 protection), broken HTTP queries (advanced query protection), post-settings, site visibility settings, among other things. A link to the page in question would be most helpful so that I won’t have to guide you through this whole convoluted process (saving us both a lot of time!). Thanks ??

the site is not available in English

starting from this page and deep into the catalog there is a problem.
Сatalog made using WooCommerce, problems started recently, before there were no errors in the search console

There is no problem on other pages.

    Thanks for trying to help

Thanks for the help, the thought of 404 led me to check out WooCommerce pages again. I found one page removed from publication with a 500 error on it. Because of this, noindex put your plugin to all the other pages.

Let me have 1 page with 500 search errors than the entire catalog of products with noindex

    Hello!

I see you’re running an old version from 2018 of The SEO Framework (v3.2.0).

Over a few thousand changes have been made since (we’re now at v4.0.7). Along the way, I fixed the most notorious issue related to post and term ID collisions, where some posts were seen as terms, and vice versa. I believe you’re now seeing this bug in action.

Luckily, when you update, you can expect that the latest version works flawlessly. ??
