Meta Robots Follow not updating

Hi,
I have the same problem. For a try I set the “point” for a certain page to nofollow and yes it worked.
Now I tried to go back to “follow”, but as soon as I update the old setting “nofollow” is back?

@esmi – I think the more people verify that this is a bug, the better. Joost has a paid version of this plugin that has support so there’s some concern that he may leave bugs untouched. This is quite a bug so I’d love a hundred more folks like @michi1 testifying about the error.

@douglas Karr: These forums have guidelines. Please read them. As you will see, one of these guidelines – entitled Where to Post – specifically states:

Unless you are using the same version of WordPress on the same physical server hosted by the same hosts with the same plugins, theme & configurations as the original poster, do not post in someone else’s thread. Start your own topic.

Please abide by this.

@esmi thanks for the clarification. Those guidelines don’t make sense… having dozens of different threads about the same bug is inefficient and unproductive. Have a nice day.

Nevertheless, they are the guidelines for these forums based upon years of experience. Please abide by them.

@esmi well, thank goodness they’re guidelines and not terms of use. I’m an avid supporter of WordPress, have developed a ton for the community, and continue to promote and assist. Try to be a little less militant and a little more supportive of people that are genuinely having a problem. We don’t need a police state around here – we’re trying to help one another.

Understood – which is why the guidelines exist. Once again, please abide by them.

There seems to be a bug in the guidelines for these forums. Where exactly should I post about that issue? =)
