meta slider broke home page

    I have installed the Meta slider plugin on my homepage only. I am using Mystile theme and woocommerce. But slider did not work.It showed shortcode instead of slider on homepage.I enter the code in homepage description and in header.php file above the line ?php woo_content _ before (); ?
    The code is [metaslider id=193 restrict_to=home]”);
    After I see the code on homepage, i save meta slider settings. Now home page is not showing slider, product catagories,recent added product etc. It is showing only header and footer area.I uninstall the plugin,and set the banner again, but problem is not solved.Banner is not displaying.Kindly help me.

  • Hi there,

    Please remove any custom code added from the header.php template and test if the page is working as before.

    Once the page is working then try adding the Meta Slider template include:

       echo do_shortcode("[metaslider id=193 restrict_to=home]");

    Either place this code within existing <?php ... ?> tags or add these in if needed.

    Are there any errors?

    You may want to enable WP_DEBUG mode to determine what’s causing the issue?
