  • Ok, could you email me that image? I’d like to make sure other people don’t end up in the same situation ??

Can you try disabling all other plugins again and see if the sliders start displaying?

Actually, if its a .bmp image, no need to email me. Just found out they’re not supported so I’ll add some error checking in. If its a .gif, .jpg, or .png file I’d be interested to do some testing with it.

    Regards
    Tom

I came to this thread after reading and comment on this one -> https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/fatal-error-after-recent-update/page/2?replies=56

So after reading this I thought I must have a bad image. I was about to grab it and send it to you so you could test, but then I tried running “Save & Preview” one last time and it worked. No error message this time.
In my case, I never deployed it to the site, just tested via the “Save & Preview” button, and the lightbox popup is where I saw the error that was similar to what the other forum described (ie: “Invalid image dimensions”)

So now I’m a little unsettled as to where there is a little glitch that’s going to crop up and bring the site down at some point if I go ahead and deploy.

Interested to hear if you find anything concrete on this problem.

Thanks for the incredible plugin! SOOOO much better than anything else I’ve found.

    Hi mbrinson,

As you can see I’m getting a bit stuck on this one! But its definitely “a thing”, I just can’t seem to get the same thing to happen here.

Is there a chance you hit ‘add to slider’ before the image finished uploading?

    Regards
    Tom.

I wish I could say yes, so you could have a quick fix, but unfortunately, no. The images were already in place. I just pointed to them via the library tab.

Thinking about this more.. Could you send me the image anyway (tom [at] matchalabs.com) please? At least then I can rule out that this issue may never happen with the images I’m using. Also can you let me know what size you’ve set the slideshow to?

    Thanks
    Tom

Good news, I’m confident this is fixed now (at last!).

The other good news is you don’t need to worry too much about the error message, once it has happened during the initial resize of the slide, it won’t happen again.

I’ll sort out a mini release tomorrow containing the fix.

Thanks for everyones help, especially mbrinson for sending me the image and giving me some extra details about the slideshow setup.

    Regards
    Tom.

That’s awesome Tom! So glad I could be of assistance. ??

    2.0.2 contains this fix.

If you still have issues please start a new thread!
