• I’m using Meta Slider 2.6. Excellent plugin. I’ve just noticed something which I think is “new”. Perhaps it has always worked this way (feature?). Here’s what I found:

    I’m using the FlexSlider option.

I noticed that if I click on the “arrows” to move back and forth in the slide show series, the slide show automation does not resume once I stop clicking on the arrows. It just shows the same slide forever.

I thought it might be related to the Hover Pause option. So I tried it both ways. The results were unexpected. With Hover Pause checked, it resumes. With Hover Pause unchecked, it doesn’t resume. I expected it to resume in both cases.

My web site is under development and I’m unable to provide an example. I’m using the Customizr theme and several other plugins.

My workaround for the moment is to leave Hover Pause checked.

    Any ideas/suggestions would be welcome.

  • Hi there,

    Any luck with this dccharron?

I’m having a similar problem. My issue is the same as described above (including behaviour) only the image slider will not resume on my iPhone (safari browser) if the image has been clicked. To describe it another way, if a site visitor manually clicks through the photos displayed by the meta slider, the slide function does not resume.

This is mainly an issue on smartphones if the visitor accidentally clicks on the slider while scrolling down the page.

Ideally I would disable the interactive mode altogether, meaning the visitor cannot manually scroll through images. Would this be possible? I’ve tried disabling the “dots” which works on the desktop, but one can still click through the images on the iPhone.

It would be great if someone could provide support here.
