    Hi

    I analyzed my site in PageSpeed Insights and got a recommendation:

    The content of the “description” meta tags can be included in the search results as a brief summary of the page content.

    However, when I look at the source code of the site (e.g., at https://stavimbydlim.cz/vlhkost-zdiva-a-metody-odvlhceni-domu/), there is a meta tag description.

    <meta name="description" content="Odvlh?ení domu pod?ezáním zdiva, stavbou drená?e, opravou hydroizolace spodní stavby, vysou?ením konstrukcí a aplikováním sana?ní omítky." class="yoast-seo-meta-tag" />

    How is it possible that PageSpeed Insights doesn’t see this code? On other pages with the same template there is no problem.

    Thank you in advance for the answer.
    Have a nice day.

    Hello @martinste

    Thanks for reaching out about your PageSpeed Insights recommendation. Like you, I can confirm a meta description in the page source. The same appears in search results for the page. See screenshot. I’d recommend ignoring the recommendation since your page has the meta description, and the same is indexed by Google.
