Meta Tags In Body

Have you tried:

– deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

– switching to the default theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.

Done that, and no errors with plugins that i can find.

I believe it is something to do with the header coding but thats all i have found out and where im lost :/

What happens if you reactivate your old theme?

I have no other theme.

If i change to default theme my site is scrambled and nothing works.

Re-upload a fresh, unpacked, copy of the Twenty Thirteen folder to wp-content/themes using FTP or whatever file management application your host provides.

Did that then, switched to that theme, ran through debugger again, but came up with same META TAGS IN BODY error still ??

And please stop posting the same topic multiple times. I have just deleted 4 duplicate topics posted in as many minutes.

Meta tags belong in the head, not in the body. Find what’s generating them (perhaps template files), fix.

I have discovered the fault. Its all FACEBOOK side not wordpress ??

Facebook has a problem regarding Meta Tags, they have changed their API thus causing the error to occur. Many many people are experiencing the same error since a recent facebook update.

Why is the wrong thumbnail, title or description being posted to Facebook?

Error found, do not know how but I think I found it…

“og:image” is MISSING !!!!!

I hope I have found the correct place to post this question. I too have the Facebook Debug Tool report showing the Meta Tag Error.
Any advice to fix it. I do not have another theme and not really sure how the prior post fixed his issue.

Meta Tags In Body Your page has meta tags in the body instead of the head. This may be because your HTML was malformed and they fell lower in the parse tree.
Please fix this in order for the tags to be usable.
