Meta tags not working on AMP

  • meta tags are not pushed to amp pages. the reason why we are using glue for yoast seo amp is actually that this plugin can help to push meta tags from regular pages to its corresponding amp pages. but it’s not working at the moment. and NOT THE AMP PLUGIN!! It’s the plugin glue for yoast seo amp

    Yup. It’s not working for me either ?? LOL….

    I switched AMP plugin – only – to AMP for WP. They have a lot of options in settings, including design and menu, and this was one of them. Now I got metas in AMP pages.

    I use SEO Powersuite Website Auditor and it shows me a lot of info. After installing, I could easily check empty & duplicate Descriptions/Title, Dynamic links, 301, 302, 404, 500, etc. to ensure I had settings done correctly. Recommended it highly to check and check until everything is right.

    Does Glue for Yoast work with AMP for WP? How much more help is it? IDK.

    I’d switch to AMP for WP too if I could get it to work with Yoast… hopefully someone responds to this.

    Metas workings (Also mentioned in other post as well). My settings:

    Meta Description -> On
    Select SEO Plugin: Selected Yoast as my plugin in drop-down menu
    Meta Tags from Yoast -> On
    Yoast Description in ld+json -> On

    These settings made Meta Descriptions appear in AMP pages for me. Hope it helps.

    What I’m wondering is if I can delete Glue for Yoast plugin since I’m not using other plugin.

    Its working for me now ?? According to AMP for WP you don’t need this plugin. I’m not using it and it’s working for me.
