Does the problem still exist if you temporarily deactivate the WordFence plugin?

SEO data appearead again after disabling Wordfence, thanks.
It would be great if somebody could say what’s the link between the plugins, some option that should be disabled. I can’t quit Wordfence more than one minute.

    Hi

Wordfence is a basic security plugin and I hope WP SEO would not like to force us to choose between one of the 2.
I also it use it …
I request you to help restore the missing Description field, which has apparently disappeared & not reappearing with the latest available update.

    Kind regards

I have noticed the same issue. The SEO title and Meta Description fields are gone. Is there anything I can do to have the full Yoast panel back?
    Let me know please.

I thought I had the same issue but then discovered: SEO title and Meta Description are not gone. They are part of the ?Snippet editor“ now. Just enter the desired Text there.

When writing a new post/page, you can save as draft, then go to the SEO>Tools>Bulk editor and enter your title and description. After that, when you return to edit the post/page, the title and description fields will be there and you can edit them there too.

Inconvenient, but it’s a workaround for now.

Hi Tunjic, even on the bulk editor I only can edit the title.. this is with version 3.06

You don’t need any workaround: just enter the desired meta description into the ?Snippet editor“ beneath every post and you’re done.

By the way: There is a second tab on top of the bulk editor page where you can switch between ?title“ and ?description“.
