    I’m interested!
If I understand correctly, I continue to manage my (mostly jpeg image) resources through the WordPress media library, but the DreamSpeed plugin behind the scenes copies the files to regionally distributed DreamObjects buckets and seamlessly modifies the URLs – is that close anyway?
Is it safe to assume gallery plugins (EnviraGallery in my case) handle this gracefully?
Here’s what I need to know before I jump: is the metadata I have carefully added to each image in the media library (title, caption and alt text) preserved?
Thanks for clarification on this point.
    Steve

The metadata is stored in the database, and it won’t get touched by this plugin. Only the URLs in the posts.

Wonderful. Thanks for your clarification. I presume for a DreamPress-hosted site I would want to clear the Varnish cache after enabling this plugin?

And one (for now!) follow up question. Is it safe to assume that if for some reason in the future I (or someone who takes over the management of this site from me) decide to discontinue using the DreamObjects CDN, I/they can simply disable the plugin and WordPress will revert to serving resources the conventional way?
