    Hi Sybre,

we are online with our site https://www.alkohol-ade.com for a few month and definitely happy with your plugin. But as always, a question came up.

We are testing our SEO with Ubersuggest at the moment and have good values except for the backlinks, which still have to be developed. But: We work a lot with keyword pages. On these Ubersuggest complains that they do not contain any meta-description. A typical example page is this one:

    https://www.alkohol-ade.com/tag/ethanol-methionin-stoffwechsel/

Since there are well over 100 pages with keywords it might be important. But I could not find any settings in the plugin to generate a meta description for these keyword pages.

Did I miss something, does it work at all?

    Thanks for the occasional feedback,

    Bernd

    Hi Bernd,

When you (quick-)edit any term (category, tag) supported by The SEO Framework, you should be able to find a “Meta Description” field to input a description.

TSF can generate one for you via the WordPress-native term-“Description” field, which some themes also display prominently at the top of the front-facing page.

If you leave the description field empty, Google can then generate a description for you. Either way, it shouldn’t affect the ranking of the term — only the click-through-rate (CTR). You can safely ignore Ubersuggest’s complaints about it.

Thanks for your support, Sybre. That’s what I almost thought – that the Ubersuggest recommendations are the problem and not the tag-pages.
